Analysis of Different Electric Current Frequencies in Soil Apparent Conductivity

Abstract Purpose The electrical resistivity method is commonly used to identify areas with similar soil characteristics by measuring the soil’s apparent conductivity (EC a ). However, ideal frequency range be and influence of signal on EC values obtained sensors still uncertain. This study aimed (1) evaluate effect electric current (2) correlation between from different frequencies attributes agronomic interest, such as water content pH. determinations were in four experimental using six (1, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 Hz). Methods value sensor was analyzed linear regressions all areas, followed F- test ( α = 0.05).
